Immunological treatment

During the pregnancy, under normal conditions, a phenomenon occurs thanks to which the maternal immune system creates a high tolerance to the embryo, allowing the correct growth and development of the fetus. It is estimated that 10% of cases of implantation failure or recurrence can be attributed to an alteration in the maternal immune system.

At Gravida, we offer the possibility of carrying out immunological studies, in collaboration with the Clinical Immunology Laboratory of the Chicago Medical School, to select those patients who can benefit from immunomodulatory treatment in conjunction with reproduction treatments.

If it is true that there is no clear scientific evidence for this type of treatment, which must be considered as experimental, the good results in correctly selected patients will encourage us to offer and continue research.
